Good to know
Questions we get every week.
How much notice do you need?
It depends on the order. Small drop-off orders need at least a few days. Larger groups, full-service events and custom menus take longer to plan and staff, so the earlier you reach out, the better. If a date is close, call us and we’ll tell you what we can do.
What are the minimums?
Drop-off catering starts at 20 guests for breakfast and lunch, and 25 for dinner. Full-service catering starts at 30 guests.
What’s the difference between drop-off and full service?
Drop-off means we deliver the food hot in disposable trays, set it up at your location with serving utensils, plates, napkins and forks, and leave you to enjoy it. Full service means chafing dishes and displays, our professional staff on site to serve, and full cleanup of the food station. Breakfast full service includes up to two hours of staff; dinner full service is an upgrade starting at $6.00 per person. You can add compostable tableware and décor to breakfast for $2.50 per person.
Is everything pork-free?
Yes. Pete’s Kitchen does not cook or serve pork. Our breakfast meats are turkey, chicken and beef, and our menus include vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free options. Tell us about any dietary needs when you inquire.
Can you handle allergies?
We cook in a kitchen that handles milk, eggs, wheat, soybean, peanuts, tree nuts, fish and shellfish. Tell us about every allergy when you place your order. We will do our best to accommodate, but we cannot guarantee any item is free from cross-contact. Consuming raw or undercooked meat, poultry, seafood, shellfish or eggs may increase your risk of foodborne illness, especially if you have certain medical conditions.
Do you offer pricing for Baltimore City Public Schools?
Yes. Ask for special BCPS partner pricing when you inquire. Tell us your school in the form and we’ll include partner pricing in your quote.
Where do you deliver?
We serve Baltimore City and the surrounding area. Delivery, setup and tax may apply depending on your event location and will be included in your quote.
How is pricing calculated?
Per person, by menu, with the service style and any add-ons on top. Menu pricing can vary with guest count, premium selections, delivery distance, staffing, equipment, extended service and customized setup. Your quote will spell all of it out.
